Yup that's right! I've made a little game set in the Breaking the Lore universe!

And you can download it here!
(I hope - let me know if you have problems.)

Oswine has settled down to a peaceful life on his island home, but when you're a fae prince in human form, things are never going to be that simple. When Vikings invade the monastery, Oswine has to defend his home and his friends.

It's short! It's probably full of weird bugs and errors! The Vikings inexplicably turn into orcs when you start fighting them! It's non-canonical and extremely historically inaccurate! But I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Use the arrow keys, Z and X to interact with the world.
I also recommend saving frequently.

The decisions you make can have positive and negative consequences on the game ending, so you can have fun playing it more than once to see everything. If you get stuck, let me know! In fact... just let me know what you think in general.

This game is cool!

The graphics are pretty good, but the sfx are a bit loud. Also Oswine learns skills he can't use. Is that intentional? My final gripe is that you can get paralyze locked fighting the X guys. The music in the game is great and fits the theme well.

All in all its a pretty nice experience. Thank you sooo much for creating this. I've been reading breaking the lore from the start and it is a great experience only enhanced by this game.

Yaaay, pleased you enjoyed it, and thanks for the feedback! And for sticking with BtL all the way through!

I do need to figure out how to improve the battling system - the program I created the game on, RPG maker, has a lot of defaults that I mostly just left in place. I *think* that Oswine can't use some of the spells he learns because they're intended for a different "class", but I'd have to experiment some more.

(Also UGH that paralyse lock! That was something I did mess around with the guts of the programming to try to fix by trying to reduce how often it uses that attack. I thought I'd solved it, but perhaps i was just lucky on all my test playthroughs. I guess this is why game developers need a lot of beta testers!)

I figured out how to fix it. You just need to go into the database and in the monk class under features add skill type magic.
